OMG! NOT LANE BRYANT
by KJ on Jan.23, 2009, under Chatter
So, what is a curvy girl on my budget to do?
As I was reading morning news, I ran across an article that suggests that Lane Bryant may be facing financial difficulties. In 2008, the plus-sized retail chain closed 150 stores. Their financial outlook for 2009 doesn’t look too promising as they incurred losses of over $260 million for year ending November 2008. Lane Bryant plans on closing an additional 100 plus stores this year.
Now, my Mother is a faithful Lane Bryant Shopper. She actually introduced me to them. She would’ve made a great Marketer for the company. I appreciate her doing it too. My Mom is good about finding things that she likes and thinks others may enjoy as well. She’s unselfish with her information hoping to make a difference! I appreciate that information and the good genetics, “MOM!”
There are a variety of different fresh new styles for all full-figured women at Lane Bryant whether you are young or old! The quality of clothing was far more than what you would pay for the items. The clothes fit great. My Mom and I would always find a Lane Bryant no matter what city or state we were in when shopping. We even shop online looking for new styles and deals. The REAL WOMEN DOLLARS, were the best creations. It allowed you to get more for your money, and truly a rewarding reward! (continue reading…)

SELFISH TO LOVE YOURSELF MORE?
by KJ on Jan.22, 2009, under Chatter, Relationships
For some time now, I’ve been wondering if you can truly love others if you haven’t experienced love yourself! I ask myself, trying not to appear to be conceited with myself, but should I really love myself as I do? I nurture myself and always tell myself that I deserve to feel the way that I do. I always seek more of the joyful times to continue to build confidence. Is it okay for me to want the same type of feelings from others and to share the same type of emotions with them hoping that they can share in on the experience? Will they keep coming back for the same type of feeling from me? Will they practice this feeling with others? These are just a few of the questions that I ask myself. I will try to explain why I feel as if you should always love yourself more. (continue reading…)

No one wants to work a full 40 hour week if possible, but with these economic times, it’s impossible to really afford not to do so! I have expanded my research to help others that are just entering the workplace or that would like a career change to share with you some jobs that will allow you to not pull the full 40 hours per week, but will allow you to receive your same salary. Don’t worry about slacking on your job, because your job will be done! Thankfully, these careers rarely work over 40 hours per week and you are still compensated.
